Sarah has been an In the City Camps (ITC) veteran since 2014, when she initially came on board as a part-time administrative assistant. Over the years, Sarah has grown within the company, taking on more roles and responsibilities which led to her current position as Director of Operations. She is driven by ITC’s mission to provide an accessible and affordable day camp for families within the Atlanta Jewish Community, giving hundreds of children a memorable experience.
In this role, Sarah helps to further build out ITC’s infrastructure and internal processes, while being intimately familiar with ITC’s unique operational model. She is your go-to person for questions about camper registration, financial aid, and camp data and statistics. She also oversees day-to-day operations including external communications, web design, database systems, HR and payroll, developing and executing contracts, and donor management. She knows camp from the inside out and manages the details that keep camp running smoothly all year long.
Prior to joining the In the City Camps team, Sarah worked as an elementary school teacher and elementary school librarian. She also has over 10 years of experience in office administration. Sarah holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Lee University and a Masters in Library Science from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Sarah enjoys being a wife to her husband, Donald, and a mom to her kids, Liam and Ava.
