ITC Experience

Ready to get the kids out of the house?
Try ITC Experience.

While we cannot run our full day program, we are committed to maintaining the ITC Experience our campers love. With this new specialty camp program, our campers still get to make their own decision about what they want to do at camp and create friendships with a small group of 10 campers. Each ITC Experience group will have 2 Jewish role model counselors to provide quality activities and facilitate safe fun for campers.

Kid and Tween campers can choose from:
Sports, Art, Dance & Drama, or Science & Exploration.

Teen campers will play Ultimate Frisbee.

SPORTS
Campers will play a variety of sports, including soccer, gaga, kickball, and more. This is a great option for sports-loving kids who need to get some energy out!
ART
Campers will create a variety of projects and learn techniques of painting, drawing, and more. Campers will love expressing their creativity!
DANCE & DRAMA
Campers may learn a scene from their favorite musical, get creative with improv, or create routines for pop and hip-hop songs. This is a great option for the performer in your family!
SCIENCE & EXPLORATION
Campers will learn to solve problems, perform experiments, create maps, and more. Campers will love exploring the grounds of the Weber campus and being innovative!

In order to focus on health and safety, SPACE IS LIMITED. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration for each week closes on Saturday at noon (before the week begins).

Camp will be held outside; we will have tents for shade. In the event that it rains, each bunk of 10 campers will be spaced out in a different part of The Weber School building. We will have hand sanitizing stations and will follow social distancing guidelines. We will have PPE available for our staff as needed.

To best protect the health and safety of everyone at ITC Experience, campers will bring their own:

● Supplies (A list will be provided based on the camp you choose.)
● Change of clothing
● Outdoor folding chair
● Hat
● Sunscreen
● Mask (in case needed)
● Snacks/water
● Medicines (if needed)

If your child or anyone in your family experiences any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to camp. We will refund you and open your spot to someone on the waiting list. Please do your part to keep our campers, counselors, and community safe!

Read the full Health and Safety Plan here.

Camp Fees
The entire balance of camp fees is due at the time of registration, including the non-refundable $18/camper registration fee.

Changing Weeks
Registration fee includes one date change. Following that change, a $10 per change per child fee will be applied for changes in camper weeks. All changes are based on availability. We request that families notify us of date changes as soon as possible.

Cancelling Weeks
In the City Camps will honor cancellation requests for a full refund, excluding the non-refundable $18/camper registration fee. We ask that cancellations are submitted via email by the Wednesday before the camp week being cancelled. However, in the event that your child or anyone in your family experiences any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to camp. We will refund you (excluding the $18/camper registration fee), even in the event that a cancellation notice is received after the Wednesday deadline.

Most questions/answers are addressed in the Health and Safety Plan. The plan covers screening, cleaning/disinfecting, carpool, social distancing, camper cohorts/bunks, staff responsibilities, etc. We encourage you to read the plan first.

Is camp inside or outside?
Camp is 100% outside for all campers. In the case of rain, we will move inside the building where each group will have their own classroom together. Masks are required inside the building and when social distancing isn’t possible. Please refer to the Health and Safety Plan for more information.

Will my child choose their activity while at camp?
You will choose the specialty track your child will attend upon registration.

Can my child change to a different activity track if they don’t like what they’re doing?
If there is availability in a different track, your child may switch the following camp day. You will need to contact ITC right away if you wish to change tracks.

How are the campers grouped?
The campers are grouped by bunks/cohorts within their activity track. If an activity track has multiple groups, we will try to keep children in similar age groups. Each bunk/cohort will have no more than 10 campers, along with 2 counselors. The bunks will not comingle or share space.

Can my child be grouped with his/her friend?
You may request ONE bunkmate for your child on the registration form. Requests with more than one name will not be honored. Both campers must be registered for the same specialty camp and week(s). We will make every effort to honor this one bunk request, but it is not guaranteed. You will learn of your child’s bunk placement the week before camp in an informational email.

Is bus transportation and before/after care available?
We are not offering bus transportation or before/after care this summer.

Will the campers go swimming?
Because we will not have bus transportation to the pool, there will be no swimming this summer. But the campers will have a fun-filled 2.5 hours of camp fun!

What supplies will my child need?
● Change of clothing
● Activity supplies — A list will be provided based on the camp you choose.
● Change of clothing
● Outdoor folding chair
● Hat
● Sunscreen
● Mask (in case needed)
● Snacks/water
● Medicines (if needed)

What if my child must arrive late or leave early? (i.e. for an appointment)
Due to the operational guidelines, no visitors are permitted on campus outside of the prescheduled staggered arrival and departure carpool times. Therefore, no late check-ins or early check-outs will be permitted.

Can I sign up for a single day or partial week?
Due to the limited spots available, single registration days/prorated weeks are not available. The days your child attends is up to you, but the cost will remain the same.

Is financial aid and/or discounts available?
Due to this year’s unique circumstances, there is no financial aid or discounts this summer.
