In the City Camps truly has something for everyone. Campers get to choose their activities throughout the day. Our age-appropriate programming structure encourages campers to participate in activities they love and try new things. We offer a wide variety of choices each day, including:

  • Basketball
  • Magic
  • Water Play
  • Art
  • Dance
  • Hockey
  • Cooking
  • Nature

In our extraordinary environment, your child will build strong Jewish friendships that will last a lifetime. Campers connect with peers and our amazing Jewish role model counselors. They discover new passions and deepen existing ones. At In the City Camps, your child will experience the connection to others they so desperately need in these unprecedented times.

Culturally Jewish

In the City Camps provides a culturally Jewish, values-based experience for Jewish campers of all backgrounds. Your child will sing Hebrew songs, make a tzedakah (charity) box at arts & crafts, perform mitzvot (good deeds) through volunteer projects, and cook some of Israel’s most delicious foods – all while strengthening 21st century skills like collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. Plus, every Friday we join together to celebrate Shabbat with special songs and dances.

COVID Precautions

At In the City Camps, safety – both physical and emotional – has always been our number-one priority. Now, it’s even more important than ever. As this is an ever-changing situation, we always rely on medical experts and follow the most updated CDC and local health guidelines related to COVID. Last summer we safely ran 4 weeks of in-person camp based on the science and guidelines available at the time – with ZERO cases of COVID-19. While we know that the guidelines will change between now and this summer, we are currently planning for all campers to stay with their bunks and counselors throughout the day. We will also utilize outdoor spaces as much as possible and, when we are inside, campers and counselors will wear masks. You can view our most up-to-date safety protocol FAQs here.

In the City Camps’ diverse camper and staff makeup is one of the things that makes our camp community so special. We strive to meet each camper and family where they are and how they are. When you send your child to In the City Camps, you can rest assured that your camper will spend the day with mature, energetic, trained Jewish counselors he or she will look up to from day one. In the City Camps is truly a family, staying connected throughout the year and summer after summer.
