COVID-19 Health & Safety Precautions FAQs
Stay tuned for more up to date information regarding masking for Summer 2022 based on CDC recommendations in the Spring of 2022.
What if someone tests positive for COVID-19 during camp?
If your camper tests positive for COVID-19, please email campoffice@inthecitycamps.org as soon as possible. Our team will then use contact tracing to determine which individuals were potentially exposed so that they can be advised to quarantine and test per current CDC guidelines as quickly as possible. In the event that a counselor or other staff member tests positive, In the City Camps will employ our protocols to communicate with affected families and limit exposure.
What is the plan for cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day?
Each location has two full-time employees to clean and sanitize high-traffic areas and high touchpoints like bathrooms, common spaces, and doorknobs throughout the day.
