Edyie Koonan, a resident of Atlanta for more than four decades, started her real estate career right before the major economic downturn of 2008. But that didn’t stop her from becoming one of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association’s Top Producers in her first year as a real estate agent — a rare accomplishment — and she quickly became a Life Member. She has a strong record of community service, including her executive board membership for the Jewish Educational Loan Fund and her past role as the chair of the Atlanta Jewish Foundation. She and her husband Steve (the CEO of the Atlanta Hawks and the State Farm Arena) were honored with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Atlanta’s Citizens of the Year Award.
